Melody Ma has experience across financial services and fintechs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Europe and the Middle East. She has held senior leadership roles at innovative and first-of-its-kind regulated fintech firms, including digital asset trading platforms, carbon exchange, and perpetual futures exchange, leading legal and regulatory functions and advising boards and executive teams on licensing, regulatory approvals, product structuring, new market entries, governance and enterprise risks. Before moving into executive leadership roles, she practised as a derivatives lawyer at Linklaters and later led industry policy initiatives at the International Swaps & Derivatives Association (ISDA).
